He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Scott and Ada Irene Scott (Ward); and his sister Virginia. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his daughter Julia Gleason (Martin) of Fairfield, Iowa.; his grandson Dr. Scott Gleason (Heather) of Burlington; his great grandchildren, Gavin and Grant; his granddaughter Emily Helling (Lucas); and his great grandchildren, Owen and Everly of Fairfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Bushnell Rescue Squad or the Bushnell-Prairie City High School for the Richard Scott Science Scholarship.
