With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip Ray Thompson of Bushnell, Illinois, who passed away on February 8, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton R. Thompson and Audrey E. Thompson (Abernathy); his siblings, Beverly Horman and Joseph Thompson; and his mother-in-law Beverly Lindsey.
He is survived by: his children, Tonda Speer (Matt) of Bushnell, Shane Thompson (Melisa) of Macomb and Lindsay Thompson of Bushnell; his grandchildren, Anthony Thompson (Sam Dawe), Bri Davis, Hunter Thompson (Hannah Clark), Jenna Thompson, Morgan Thompson, Layne Thompson, Logan Zeisler, Maxton Speer, Devin Masten, Dezaray Thompson (Tyler Hettich) and Dexx Fenner; and his great grandchildren, Emma McCormick, Gavin Zeisler, Luna Mack, Graeyson Adam, Dedrick Hettich and Aurora Thompson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bushnell Christian Church or MDH Hospice.
