He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Gossett and Hattie Gossett (Doyle); and his siblings, James Gossett, Willie Joe Gossett, Helen Minor, Berthie Adwell, Francis Minor and Margaret Gossett.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Logsdon; his daughters, Sheena Boden (Daryl) of Bushnell, IL, Carol Jones (Brian) of Avon, IL and Paula Gossett (Jerry Minor) of Virginia, IL; his siblings, Douglas Gossett (Frankie), Betty Poynter, Hazel Smith and Junior Gossett; and his close friends, Wendy and Jamie. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Bushnell Oddfellow's Scholarship Fund.
