She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Nichols and Bertha Nichols Sr. (Brown); her husband James R. Martin; her grandchildren, Ashley M. Fisher and James R. Martin III; and her brother Merlin L. Nichols Jr..

She is survived by: her children, James R. Martin II (Shirley) of Bushnell, IL, Thomas Martin (Deb) of Bushnell, IL, Elizabeth A. Cramblet (Neil) of O'Fallon, MO and Mary L. Fisher (Brian) of Macomb, IL.. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren.
