He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Ferris and Jennie Irene Foster Ferris; his wife Doris Doyle; and his siblings, Dale, Frank, Howard Ferris and Joyce Boden.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Lewallen (Rodney) of Niota, Everett Ferris (Linda) of Bushnell, Billie Ferris of Macomb and Jerri Askew of Macomb; and his sister Helen Thorman (Wayne) of Macomb. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
