George Ira Beckman Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2024, at the age of 80, George Ira Beckman of Bushnell, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred J. Beckman and Jeanette Beckman (Botts); and his brothers, Gene and Joseph Beckman. He is survived by: his wife Jane E. Venhuizen; his children, Greg Beckman (Nora) of Gig Harbor, WA and Rachel Beckman of DeKalb, IL.; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Lucille, Nicholas, Anthony Beckman, Abby and Tyler Calhoun.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the George Beckman Scholarship Fund in support of the Building Trades and Vocational Education established at the Farmers and Merchants Bank in Bushnell.
