She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Boyd and Lottie Boyd (Clark); her spouse V. N. Howard (Newt); her son-in-law Ken Suter; and her siblings, Ed, Sam, George, Harland, Max Boyd, Polly Zook and Barbara Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Suter of Avon, IL, Rhonda Cadwalader (Dave) of Bushnell, IL, Newt Howard (Nickee Scott) of Bushnell, IL and Neal Howard (Amy) of Geneseo, IL.; her sister Phyllis Repp of Avon, IL; and her grandchildren, Kara Brinegar (Wes), Ron Cadwalader (Morgan), Kassie Mathre (Luke), Davann Cadwalader, Cole Howard, Calvin Olson and Piper Howard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Bushnell United Methodist Church organ fund.
