With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J. Dimmitt (Bushnell, Illinois), born in Blandinsville, Illinois, who passed away on May 6, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Glenn Stehl and Irene Stehl (Bennett); her former husband Paul Dimmitt; her children, Cindy Mason (Roger) of Bushnell, IL, Chris Dimmitt (Shelly) of Avon, IL and Trenna McKelvey (Danny) of Industry, IL; her close friend Bob Babbitt; her daughter Rose Marie Dimmitt; and her siblings, Helen Selby, Ellen James, Beverly Maloney, Joan Rhoads, Ben Stehl, Dick Stehl and Karen Donahue. She was also cherished by ten grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the McDonough District Hospital Hospice Program.
