He was predeceased by: his wives, Lorraine Knaack and Elaine Knaack; and his sister Barbara Cartright (late William). He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Knaack and Karen Knaack; his stepchildren, William Kobernus, Peter Kobernus (Sheri), Karen Gibboney (Phil) and Karl Kobernus (Laura); his stepgrandchildren, Katrina Nausid (Adam), Brett Kobernus (Christy) and Kent Kobernus (Jenna); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Maverick Nausid, Avery Jo Kobernus and Kendall Kobernus; and his pet Tiger Knaack.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
