He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Snyder and Dorothy Snyder (Bartlett); and his close friend Henrietta "Retta" Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Jaime Hogan (Danny) of Niota, IL, Jeremy Snyder of Burnside, IL and Jennifer Roberts (Scott) of Carthage, IL; his siblings, Beverly (Steven), Barbara (Edward), Betty (Rene), Becky Flowers (Larry), Chester (Joyce), Billie Mosher Ft (late David), Bonnie Willdrick (Gene), Brenda Womack Ft, Bea (Alan) and Glenn Snyder Jr. (Terry); and also, Daniel Johnson (Ronda) of Burnside, IL, Eric Johnson (Brandi) of Carthage, IL, Julie Lance (Brent) of Wentzville, MO and Sherri Main (Tom) of Carthage, IL. He is also survived by several grandchildren and a great granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for the Pilot Grove Township Cemetery.
