He was predeceased by: his daughter Deborah Hurta; his parents, William Hurta and Helen Hurta; and his siblings, John Hurta, Ann Hurta, Donna Hull and Daniel Hurta.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene; and his brothers, Ronald Hurta (Donna) and Dennis Hurta (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
