He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Leja and Jakub Leja; and his siblings, Jan Leja, Jozef Leja and Kazimierz Leja.
He is survived by: his spouse Wladyslawa; his children, Bogdan Leja (Anna) and Grazyna Zieba (Andrzej); his grandchildren, Krzysztof Leja, Piotr Leja, Pawel Leja, Barbara Zieba, Robert Zieba and Pawel Zieba; and his siblings, Zofia Jaronczyk, Stanislaw Leja and Stanislawa Otwinowska. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
