He was predeceased by: his parent Art Bridgeman; his spouse Mary G. Bridgeman (Tosello); his child Dino Bridgeman; and his siblings, Donald Bridgeman and Laverne Bridgeman.
He is survived by: his parent Opal Bridgeman; his children, Linda McGunn (late Tom), Donna Grochowski (Greg) and Robert Bridgeman Jr (Elaine); his grandchildren, Michelle Mecha (Eric), Tracy Robinson (Joseph), Edward Thomas, Jennifer Brackins (Ray), Amy O'Connor (Michael) and Robert Bridgeman III; his great grandchildren, Allison, Lucy, Ashley, Alexis, Wyatt, Grace and McKayla; and his siblings, Marjorie Dawson (James) and Jean Leavitt (late Robert).
