He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda McGarry; his children, Tara, Kelly (Nick) and John (Kylie); and his sisters, Colleen McGarry, Maureen Hansen (Tim) and Cathy Snarskis (Stan). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations to the family will be used to purchase a memorial tree at Lake Katherine.
