He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Marianna Escobedo (Luke Alksnis) and German Escobedo (Rondria); his grandchildren, Jasmine Alonso (Juan), Jonathan LaValle, Helena, Karina and Carmen Escobedo; his great grandchildren, Adriel and Amir; his parents, Jesus Escobedo and Guadalupe Escobedo; and his siblings, Araceli Sakurai (Kazumaza), Norma Escobedo, Guadalupe DelRio (Mario), Jesus Escobedo, Leticia Monroy (Braulio) and Diana Aguirre (Ferdie).
