He is survived by: his children, Gerald J., Thomas E. (Kelly) and Nancy Butler (James); his grandchildren, Shannon, Briana (Anthony), James and Grace; and his great grandchild Anthony.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lawn Funeral Home - Burbank (7909 State Rd, Oak Lawn, IL 60459). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Lawn Funeral Home (7909 State Rd, Oak Lawn, IL 60459). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Symphorosa Church (6135 S Austin Ave, Chicago, IL 60638). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the St. Mary Cemetery (8700 S Hamlin Ave, Chicago, IL 60652).
