He was predeceased by: his parents, Marin Yelaska and Andrica Yelaska (Ivanisevic); his wife Helen Yelaska (Orphanos); and his sibling Yubi. He is survived by: his children, Doral (Fred Pavlicek) and Bruce Yelaska; his grandchildren, Christopher and Kimberly (Justin Herring); his great grandchildren, Abraheem and Musa; and his siblings, John, Annie Bright, Michael, Victor and Mary Gorwitz. He is also survived by daughter and son, doted over their grand children and great grand children and loved their family.
