She was predeceased by: her parents, Giovanni Valente and Pierina Valente. She is survived by: her husband Arnold; her sons, Michael (Molly), Steven (Lisa) and Robert; her grandchildren, Olivia, Luke, Jason, Abby, Alec, Sofia, Adam and Giuliana; and her siblings, Orlando Valente (Ursula), Nerina Valente (late Ezio), Danilo (Pat), Enzo Valente (Anna), Gigliola "Gigi" Longo and Simonetta Gorda (Paolo).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in her honor to The Alzheimer's Association https://www.alz.org Immediate arrangements will be a private family event.
