She was predeceased by: her spouse Marian Szczesny; her child Krzysztof Szczesny; her parents, Helena Baranski and Wladyslaw Baranski; and her siblings, Tadeusz Baranski and Mariola Bytonska.
She is survived by: her children, Jolanta Wilk and Elzbieta Kacki (Jerzy); and her grandchildren, Mariusz Wilk (Sylvia), Konrad Wilk (Dorothy), Claudia Reytikh (Max), Rafal Kacki (Malgorzata), Joanna Clancy (Michael), Agnieszka Kawecki (Mariusz), Jakub Kacki, Anna Baran and Lukasz Szczesny. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
