We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2022, at the age of 96, Sarah Margaret Chestnut of Bunker Hill, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bijah Hodge and Anna Catherine Hausman Hodge; her children, Stephen Ray Chestnut and Sarah Jane Roose; and her siblings, Harold Hodge, Vera Womack and Shirley Armstrong.
She is survived by: her husband Elmer G. Chestnut; her sons, Elmer Russell Chestnut of Bunker Hill, IL and Donald Lee Chestnut (Vicki) of Bunker Hill, IL; and her daughter-in-law Diana Chestnut of Bunker Hill, IL. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Life Harvest Church of Wilsonville.
