It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Wade Hurley of Bunker Hill, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Hurley and Dosha Belle Hurley (Cox); his wife Margaret June Hurley; his son Michael Wade Hurley; and his sister Dorthanell Anne Hurley.
He is survived by: his children, Bobbye Hughes of Maryville, IL and Patrick Hurley (Shirley Ann) of Bunker Hill, IL; his grandchildren, Christopher Hughes, Vincent Hughes, Brian Hughes (Lynn), Chad Hurley (Beth), Casey Benderman (Shannon), Niccole Hurley, Wade Hurley and Kim Brewer (Jason); and his close friend Verna Lawrence of Bunker Hill, IL..
