He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertram K. Chapman and Virginia P. Chapman Landreth (Stickney); his wife Mary Catherine "Cookie" Chapman (Grelle); his grandson Andrew Chapman; his great grandchild Evelyn Santel; and his brother Carl Chapman.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Cope (Daniel) of Bunker Hill, IL, Jeffrey Chapman (Nannette) of Bunker Hill, IL, Mary May (Tod) of Bunker Hill, IL and Jennifer Hamilton (Frank) of Bunker Hill, IL; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Golike (David), Elijak Strohbeck (Jodi), Evan Strohbeck (Chelsea), Meghan Santel (Tommy), Justin Hamilton (Kelsey), Heather Hamm, Kaitlyn Cope, Benjamin Cope (Meghan), Megan Huneke (Sean), Erick May, Patrick May and Michael May; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Eleanor, Neal, Liam, Gavin, Waylon, Shawna, Audrey, Logan, Tyler, Mia, Bo and Sloan; his great great grandchildren, Alidia and Grayson; his siblings, Larry Chapman (Betty) and Kathleen Landreth; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Chapman and Mildred Grelle.
