He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Dennis and Helena Holten Dennis; and his siblings, Clarence, Robert, Danny, Ralph, Lorenzo, Giovanni, Don, Dolores, Sonja, Ina, Rosalyne and Sylvia.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Dennis of Bunker Hill, IL; his children, Pia Dennis Smith (Edwin) of Wesley Chapel, FL, Lisette Dennis of Saint Louis, MO, Philip Dennis Jr. (Sharon) of Corpus Christi, TX and Michael Dennis (Melinda) of Bunker Hill, IL; his grandchildren, Alex Smith (Angela), Danielle Smith, Paige Dennis, Philip Dennis, III, Chase Dennis, Miles Dennis and Jayden Dennis; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Smith, Amari Smith and Avery Smith.
