He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Bettorf and Francis Bettorf (Hamel); his grandfather Virgil; and his brother Michael Bettorf. He is survived by: his wife Marina Bort; his daughters, Amy Cotton (Luke) of Edwardsville Illinois and Amber Gieseking of Edwardsville Illinois; his grandchildren, Kennedy, Kobi, Kami, Nolan, Sylvia and Krosby; his siblings, Christine Ewing (Bill) of Edwardsville, Virgil Bettorf (Athena) of Desoto, MO, Carl Bettorf of Edwardsville, Jo Ann Dettmer (Eddie) of Edwardsville and Charleen Secrest of Granite City; and his nieces and nephews, Jayne Endres (Dave), Jamie Cox (Steven), Lydia Olson (Josh), Matt Luchtefeld (Amy), Justin Bettorf (Jess), Michael Secrest and Ed Secrest (Taylor). He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law, brother and sister-in-law's and even more nieces and nephews.
