He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Fahnestock and Maxine Pruitt Fahnestock; his grandson Tyler Yates; his great grandchild Job Peterson; and his sister Janis Lloyd.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Fahnestock of Bunker Hill, IL; his children, Shelley Peterson (John) of Bunker Hill, IL, Lisa Cox of Wood River, IL, Jill Yates (Perry) of Bunker Hill, IL, Mikki Rowe of Staunton, IL, Mike Fahnestock of Perryville, MO and Tom Fahnestock (Glenda) of Farmington, MO; and his siblings, Brenda Klarich (John) of Clearwater, FL, Roger Fahnestock (Jean) of Pekin, IL and Bradley Fahnestock (Jeanette) of St. Genevieve, MO.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
