It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Robert Hazelip of Bunker Hill, Illinois, born in East Alton, Illinois, who passed away on February 13, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lon Hazelip and Eucy Ruth Hazelip (Perkinson); his wife Vera F. Hazelip (Lowe); his sons, Gregory Hazelip and Jeff Hazelip; and his siblings, Thomas Hazelip and Mary Ferris.
He is survived by: his children, James F. Hazelip (Sandy Garrison) of Festus, MO, Christine Meyer (Brett) of Bunker Hill, IL, Timothy Hazelip (Lori) of Lampe, MO, Michael Hazelip (Diana) of Dupo, IL and Dodie Drummond (Matt) of Gillespie, IL; and his sibling Perl Hazelip of Collinsville, IL. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
