She was predeceased by: her parents, Aulbert Lockwood and Annie Lockwood (Coburn); her husband James Hicks; and her siblings, Jerry Lockwood, Dennis "Denny" Lockwood and Annie "Ann" Lynn.
She is survived by: her children, Johnnie "Mike" Newton (Martha "Rose") of Nashville, TN, Vickie Chastain of Gillespie, IL, Tammie Brewer (Randy) of Bunker Hill, IL, Kimberly Kowalski (Greg) of Granite City, IL, Tom Newton (Tricia) of Highland, IL and Tim Newton (Jennie) of Staunton, IL; and her siblings, Maxine Tipton, Lillian "Margie" Peters, Judy Fields (Elbon), Tom Lockwood (Kay) and Paul Lockwood. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
