She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Jaynes and Eleanor Jaynes (Halliday); her spouse Leslie Alward; and her brothers-in-law, John Reno and Bill Shelton.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Johnson (Charles) of Serena, IL, Mickie Kroeschel (Tim) of Medora, IL and Kendra Westfall (Dennis) of Danville, IL; her grandchildren, Cole Johnson (Megan), Chase Johnson, Caity Johnson, Chelsea Meyer (Zach), Lucy Constable (Josh), Bailey Westfall and Ben Westfall; her great grandchildren, Mia Johnson, Dylan Meyer, Katelyn Meyer and Addison Meyer; and her sisters, Mary Reno and Ethel Shelton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Shipman or Shipman Fire Department.
