It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Hamby of Bunker Hill, Illinois, born in Edwardsville, Illinois, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne L. Hamby and W. Faye Hamby (Matlock); his spouse Lynita J. Hartley; his brother Kenneth W. Hamby; and his great grandchild Rose.
He is survived by: his children, Denny Hamby Jr. (Melody) of Holiday Shores, Joe Hamby (Jessica), Machelle Zinn (Kevin) of Duncan, OK, Jenna Langendorf (Donnie) of Hamel and Dina Hancock (Kevin); his grandchildren, Dennis Hamby III, Bailey (Tyler Clark), Anthony Zinn, Nicholas Zinn, Dakota (Jessica Sellers), Colton (Emma Sellars), Rylee Langendorf (Tyler), Shaun (Jennifer Cathorall), Kara Kessinger and Makayla (Andrew Karraker); and his sister Janice Seals (Roger) of Edwardsville. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
