She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Rabe and Ruth Rabe (Anderson); her husband Ronald "Doc" West; her son James Thomas West; her grandson Samuel Thomas Kruse; and her sister Ginna Schweigert.

She is survived by: her children, Bob West (Pam) of Houston, TX, Karen West of Bunker Hill, IL, Matt West (Renee) of Bunker Hill, IL, Julie West of Bunker Hill, IL, Mike West of Bunker Hill, IL, Jodi Kruse (Dan) of O'Fallon, MO and Katie Starks (Terry) of Bunker Hill, IL; her grandchildren, Doug West, Corey West (Kenna), Nikki West Beatty (Brian), Mary Kruse, Michael Kruse, Dane Sellars, Coy Sellars, Brady Bishop, Avery Starks, Samantha Starks, Bailey Starks and Dylan Starks; her great grandchildren, Mason Beatty, Owen Beatty and Kennedy West; and her sister Elizabeth Stone of Castro Valley, CA..
