She was predeceased by: her brother Edward "Pete" Jr. Hosick (Cathy); her great grandchild Mackson Walker; and her nephew Francisco Mata. She is survived by: her husband James Thornton of Buncombe; her daughters, Dawn Mitchell (Joseph) of Dowell, Graciela Lopez (Wesley Garner) of Marble Hill, MO, Susana Lopez of Cape Girardeau, MO, Veronica Lopez (Jon Walter) of Cape Girardeau, MO and Jessica Lopez of Jackson, MO; her stepson Eric Thornton of Anna; her grandchildren, Aleah Walker (Tyler), Joshua, Lilyana Mitchell, Jaquelyn Walter, Benjamin, Samuel Garner and Vivienne Walter; her great grandchildren, Hudson, Westin and Gannon Walker; her sisters, Carolyn Mata (Fidel) of Ohio and Christine Turner (Wilgus) of Austin, IN; her aunt Carolyn York of Carmi; and her daughter Sheila. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
