We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2023, at the age of 87, Harold D. James of Buncombe, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marion Westbrook and Myrtle Mae James (Boomer); his sons, Allen James (Barbara Flamm James) and Stuart James (Lisa Gray James); his grandchildren, Nick James (Kara), Carly Holtkamp (Travis), Brady James (Kenzie), Tristan James (Brandon Azoulai) and Colton James (Amy); his great grandchildren, Jayla, Leonard, Tate and Tenley; his sister Marilyn Berry (Steve); his nieces, Michele Oliver (Cary) and Suzanne Fox (Rick); his great-nieces, Shawna Solomon (Tyler) and Jordi Oliver; his stepbrother Gene Teal (Joan); and also Mara Solomon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorials be made to First Christian Church and/or the College of Veterinary Medicine Achievement Fund at U of I. Envelopes will be available at the church and at Crain Funeral Home in Anna.
