He is survived by: his children, Carrie Johnson (Jeremy) of Centerton, Beverly Sue Baser (Milton Ray) of Hernando, Glenda Thornton (Micah) of Muskogee and Josh Armstrong (Ashley) of Three Rivers, Michigan; his siblings, Neil Smithson (Gloria) of Buncombe, Linda Kay Holder (Lloyd) of Buncombe, Rita Sue Ottman (Alvin) of Buncombe, Tommy Smithson of Buncombe and Randy Smithson (Phillis) of Buncombe; and his pet Jax. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
