Lyon of Buffalo, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Bub" Lyon and Katherine Higgins (Rogers); his son Jason Lyon; and his grandson Zachary Lyon. He is survived by: his wife Carol Remley; his children, Jerry Lyon (Tia), Stevie Kaufman (Kristen), Mark Kaufman, Scott Luna (Sarah), Brenda Von Behren (Kevin) and Stephanie Cunningham; and his siblings, Tommy, Henry Higgins, Kay Byers (Jack), Sally Moore and Nancy Whitehead (Mike). He is also survived by seven grandsons, two granddaughters and two great grandsons.
