She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Smason; her parents, William Yellen and Rebecca Yellen; and her siblings, Morris Yellen (late Dorothy), Lillian Cohen (late John) and Dora Schaffer (late Donald).
She is survived by: her sons, Stewart Smason (Sheri) and Joel Smason (Renee); her grandchildren, Becky Jonesi (Jason), Erik Smason (Alyssa Benson), Hannah and Abby Smason; her great grandchild Maizy; and her sister Rose Davidson (late Marvin).
