It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Eugene Rice of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, born in Humboldt, Iowa, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Rice and Irene Rice; his significant other Grace; his children, David, Denise Burns (James), Dennis (Debbie), Donald (Kathy) and Dianne Sprenger (John); his daughter-in-law Roseann; his grandchildren, Samantha Manning (Michael), Timothy Rice, Meagen, Mathew Coon, Daniel (Suzanne), Jenny Rice (Tyler Holfeld), Katie Coleman (Malcolm), Kristen Cawthorne (Will), Ryan (Kelley), Bradley, Shaun Rice, Anna, Andrew and Abby Sprenger; and his great grandchildren, Nathan, David, Evan, LilliAnn, Eleanor, Charlotte, Addison, James, Emmy and Jack.
