She was predeceased by: her husband James Oakes; her parents, Anthony Vainisi and Marie Vainisi; and her brother Jack Vainisi (late Jacqueline) of Samuel, D. V. M.. She is survived by: her sons, James (Dina) and Jerome Oakes (Lisa); her grandchildren, Jimmy, Samantha Oakes, Lauren MacCready (Max) and Nicole Oakes; her great grandchild Luke MacCready; her sibling Jerry Vainisi; and her sister-in-law Doris Vainisi.
