It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Lerman (Buffalo Grove, Illinois), who passed away on June 6, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Alex "Pete" Lerman; and her sons, Bruce and Edward. She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Carioscia (late Mickey) and Paula Ecker (late Herbie); her grandchildren, Adam, Miles, Ashley and Alex; and her niece Michelle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

“Cheryl, Paula & family. I am sorry for your loss. Included in my fond memories of your mom is when she Introduced me to deep dish pizza at Uno after the play she took us to. Riding with Bruce in his VW Bug with the broken heater when he took her where she needed to go. She welcomed me to holiday dinners with all of you, creating my love for matzoh ball soup. Take comfort that you were able to give her loving care when she needed it the most. May she Rest In Peace.”
