Mel is survived by: husband Luba; children, Bart Ames (Leslie), Cheryl Ames (Larry Gurner), Adrianne, David, Jeremy Ames, Whitney Gurner (Nick Chambers) and Emily Gurner; great grandchildren, Logan and Cruz; and siblings-in-law, Leon Rischall (Judy) and Jerry Rischall (Jill).
