He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cheri Kushner; his sons, Philip Alain Kushner and David Berk (Debra); his granddaughters, Samantha and Ella Berk; his sibling Beverly Kushner; his niece Suzanne Dubman; his parents, Harold Kushner and Sylvia Kushner; and his daughter Paige Granier.
