He was predeceased by: his sister Frances Leibowitz Cohen (late Richard); and his parents, David Leibowitz and Miriam Scheinbaum Leibowitz. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie; and his children, Michael Leibowitz, Naomi Leibowitz and Zoë Leibowitz.
