He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Cherner and Ruth Cherner; his aunt Florence Weinman (late Lenny); and his cousin Lori Kirby (George). He is survived by: his wife Marla; his children, Warren Cherner and Marissa Cherner (Ian Thaure); his brother Jeff Cherner (Jill); his siblings-in-law, Joyce Elrod (late Elliot) and Gary Siegel (Tina); his nieces and nephews, Doug Cherner (Cassie), Amy Goldberg (Willie), Emily Maschino (Danny), Felicia Elrod, Weston Siegel and Corey Siegel (Katy); his cousins, Sharon Kaplan (late Steve), Barbie Meyers (Jerry) and Barbara Profeta; and also Mickey Sockel (late Roland).
