With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joie Jacobson (Buffalo Grove, Illinois), who passed away on March 9, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Larry; her children, Beth Schwartz (Eric), Leslie Jacobson-Cohen (Ari Cohen) and Steven Jacobson (Andrea Katzman); her grandchildren, Rebecca, Sarah, Ariela, Elieza, Delilah and Aviva; and her sibling Jerry Gutman (Shelley).

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, hiaschicago.org or B'nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim Congregation,http://www.bjbe.org or any animal shelter would be appreciated.
