He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia H. Shaw; his children, Nancy Shaw Goldsmith (James A.) of Shaker Hts and Harry E. Shaw of Lutrell, TN; his grandchildren, David S. Goldsmith (Abigail), Elizabeth S. Goldsmith and Brien Shaw; and his pets, Northern Chapter of Ohio, Treasurer and John Phillips. He was also cherished by his daughter and her family.
While in Buffalo Grove, Harry got involved in the Friends of the Parks Foundation, where he served on the Board from 2003 until his retirement in 2016 and served as Vice President of the Board from 2008 – 2016.
