Harriet Ruth Bernstein Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harriet Ruth Bernstein (Buffalo Grove, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Harriet shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Harriet farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Granat and Sophie Granat. She is survived by: her husband Howard I. Bernstein; and her children, Helane, Scott (Andi) and Joanne (Greg). She is also survived by Her family grew to include eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
A private funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM.
