He is survived by: his children, Susie Franklin (Ricky), Mickey Caplan (Deni) and Gary Caplan (Pam Gady); his grandchildren, Andy Franklin (Sara), Amy Thompson (Marty), Jimmy (Alexis Buchel), Jeremy Caplan, Greg Caplan (Nicole Garelick), Brett Caplan (Amy), Maddy Caplan and Jack Caplan; his great grandchildren, Reed, Casey, Leon and Addison; and his brother Burt Caplan (Adrienne).
