He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara; his significant other Sheila Handwerker; his children, Jamie Altman and Marc Altman; his grandchildren, Jonathan Schroeder (Marie) and Ryan Schroeder; and his sisters, Bonnie Sommers (James) and Lenore Greene (Leo).
