He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Anne of Brooklyn, NY; his children, Sharon Solar, Tod Chasin, David Solar, Susan Solar and Amy Solar; his grandchildren, Ilana, Danny Chasin, Jennifer (Timothy Ammendola), Lindsay Solar, Becca, Rachel and Jessi Zlotowicz; his sibling Alice Solar Mills (late Girard); and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Ritt (Freyda Libman) and Bonnie Ritt (Lou Lentini).
