He was predeceased by: his brother Virgil. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Amara Fata (Mike), Michelle Whidden (John), Tanya Sprunger and Edwin L. Jr. (Julie); his grandchildren, Robert, Michael, Asa, Jack, Blaise, Maddie and Tyler; and his siblings, Bernita Degenhardt, Marcella Berens, Alvin, Marion, Leona Sander, Georgina Sander and Lorraine Wolf.
