He was predeceased by: his wife Iris Garfield; his nephew David Mazur; and his parents, Joseph Garfield and Mary Garfield. He is survived by: his children, Jayne Bockman (Iver Johnson), Michael Garfield and Karyn Glotzer (Jay); his grandchildren, Daniel, Cassandra Bockman, Alex, Jaclyn Musick, Jake and Jordyn Glotzer; his sister Adeline Mazur; his nephews, Jon Mazur and Steven Schwartz; and his great-nieces, Rachel, Olivia and Sarah Mazur.
